Before talking about the open day we would all like to apologise for all the delays, disruptions and telephone problems we’ve been working through since the start of the new year and thank you for bearing with us.
However, the reason for our development is to bring better health, better quality of life and a better future to as many people in our community as possible. With latest figures showing an absolute epidemic of obesity in both our children and adult populations we are setting ourselves up for premature ageing, a host of different serious diseases and a short life – to the extent that last year the Royal College of GP’s stated that they expect this generation to be the first ones to outlive their children!

As a clinic we’re not content to sit back and allow the health of our nation to decline. That’s why we’ve invested in cutting edge technology, attracted great speakers to inspire our patients and will continue to invest so that virtually everything you need to get and keep your family in optimal health will all be under one roof. Over the coming months we will be installing a full digital X-ray suite so that any imaging we need can be taken immediately. Importantly we will then be able to identify what structural problems exist in your spine and measure using our CLA nerve scans exactly what that spinal alignment is doing to your nervous system. Our open day was one of the most enjoyable days I have ever had in clinic and provided a great opportunity to show all of the age ranges and different groups of people in society the importance of the spine and nervous system in getting and keeping a great quality of life and a good future. The potential of the human body to repair and the level of performance it is able to produce never cease to amaze me and the day provided a great opportunity to honour and acknowledge the commitment to restoring their health a number of our patients have shown.
People who started care almost convinced that they were beyond help after removing an entire cartilage (meniscus) from their knee but now walking around normally, teenagers getting adjusted to optimize performance and stay injury free have been rewarded with international rugby honours, young ladies told they would never give birth normally have experienced perfectly normal (natural) childbirths and elderly couples who have regained the mobility, balance and strength they thought they had lost forever. It was great to be around so many of these people all on the same day and with more people showing this commitment to improving health we are in a great position to make a significant change to the community as a whole.

One of our favourite couples to see at the clinic were so kind as to bake amazing cakes for the event and after talking to you all I am confident that we don’t just have the right facilities and vision to change the community, but we have a great team of staff who will help us stride towards this goal.
Special thanks to Andy North, Jason O'Connor and Andy Bishop for taking time out to help us celebrate our big day!
